Q - How should the amputation level in case of planned amputation be decided?

A- In case of planned amputation (Amputation not done in emergency for saving the life of patient), we        

     suggest to have the consultation from an RCI Registered Prosthetist for best rehabilitation results post 

amputation.

Q - How long should a patient wait post amputation for fitment of Artificial Limb?

A - With the advancement of technology, In Certain cases IPOP (Immediately Post-Operative Prosthesis)

 prosthesis are also fitted. But in most of the cases the prosthesis are fitted after 2-3 months from 

 amputation, subject to wound heeling and condition of stump.

Q - What is the Best Prosthesis for me?

A - Choosing the right prosthesis for each patient is a very important part of 

Every Individual is Unique and Amputation as well. thus there is no mathematical formula for choosing the 

 correct prosthesis.
